I vended for the first time last week at The Market- a consignment sale for tween, teens and college kids. I did great for my first time and look forward to doing it again somewhere else. It was so much fun. I met so many people who gave me great advice for the future. I also made a little friend, Pierce, who I painted an Alabama "A" for during the slow times. It was a great experience. Be looking for updates on my blog for upcoming events where Eden Kreations will be.

New Developments!
Hi Everyone! I just wanted every one to know that I will be using my blog as an actual "blog" from now on. I will no longer be posting any new artwork. I just deleted almost all of them off my blog. Things were getting a little crowded on here and if you know me at all you know I can not stand clutter! So....I organized everything! If you want to see my old art work and new art work in the future please go to my brand new web site www.edenkreations.com To see my galleries directly please go to www.photos.edenkreations.com Another update....I will be a vendor at The Market. The dates are February 25-27. For more information about the times and location go to www.themarketconsignment.com Thanks!

Cookie Monster
Isn't he just too cute? A lady called me and asked if I could paint a board for her son in a Sesame Street them, Cookie Monster in particular. I think he turned out adorable.

How this whole thing got started...
I am a stay at home mother of three beautiful children and since I have so MUCH time on my hands..... HA!!! I just love to spend time painting! I began painting in 2003 before the birth of my daughter Reese. I wanted something very special for her nursery and after visiting several pricey boutiques, I decided that I could do just as well as they could without breaking my budget. So I painted some things for her room myself. After she was born, the funniest thing happened, so many of my friends were expanding their families as well and I had a lot of presents to constantly buy. My husband and I were more than just a little bit tight with money at the time and to save money I began to paint boards for my friends at baby showers. My boards soon became a hit and that is where this whole business got started. I chose the name Eden Kreation's because my daughter's middle name is Eden and my inspiration really began with her. The "K" in Kreations comes from my last name, Kelly. I believe that every parent should have the chance to create something special just for their child, without spending an arm and a leg and I love to help people create things for their children. Enjoy looking around...who knows? Your child's board may be the next thing I blog about!
